This is a work in progress. I have made the drawing and cut it carefully, using a repurposed pair of nail scissor. Now it lies there, wings slightly above the rest of the body, forming shadows against the paper. Perhaps it yearns to take flight.
I prefer to have one simple background color, but drawing that with a water color pen is much more diffucult than it might seem. All those pen strokes desire to form their own little spots on the paper, competing against each other in strength of color, making the bakground uneven. It takes aeons of time to convince them that complete conformity should rule them all. And that really feels like a strange moral to preach.
Therefore I stick with matching colored paper, using a Ph neutral glue stick. For this one, I think I´m going to go with blue.
